How will I know if I have been accepted into the program?

Each applicant will receive an email notification regarding the status of their application by Monday, October 15, 2021.

Is there a fee to participate in this program?

The Women2Women Virtual University – Belgium is fully funded by BOOST in partnership with Empower Peace, Belfius Bank, and the U.S. Embassy Belgium. There are no fees to participate once accepted into the program.

What happens if I am not accepted?

In an effort to create an impactful learning experience we decided to limit the class size. You will be notified by email regarding your application status by Monday, October 15, 2021. While we understand that not being accepted into this program may be disappointing, we hope that you will continue to explore educational opportunities.  

How will I access the classes?

Prior to your class time, you will be emailed a Zoom link and password that will take you to the live class session.  Please review the class schedule and be sure to check your email for class updates.

Will the classes be available in video on demand if I can’t watch them live?

The attendance to all the sessions is mandatory, especially to be eligible for the in person program.

If I am accepted into the Women2Women Virtual University - Belgium, does that guarantee my acceptance into Empower Peace’s America program?

No, your participation in this program does not guarantee your acceptance into the Women2Women International Leadership America program that takes place each summer in Boston, MA.

Are the same courses offered at the Women2Women’s in-person America program?

No, the courses offered online are tailored for a 60-minute session. The courses offered during the in-person America program may cover some of the same topic areas but the in-person class work will be more advanced.

If I complete the courses, will I be part of the Women2Women Alumnae?

Yes! After successfully completing our online courses, you will be a member of the Women2Women Leadership Alumnae global network. As an alumna you will have access to our online directory that will connect you to like-minded peers throughout the world. In addition, you will receive notifications about our summer program opportunities, alumnae activities and be eligible to apply for an internship at our summer program. 

Will I get a Women2Women Virtual University certificate once I complete the program?

Yes! Once you successfully completed the program, you will receive a certificate stating your achievement.
